Frequently Asked Questions

Book Appointment

New to aesthetic treatements? Here's what to expect from an appointment.

1. We have a quick chat.

We take a few minutes to talk with you about what your cosmetic concerns are and what you would like to achieve.

2. We do the treatment.

The action-phase of your appointment takes only a few minutes. You will not need an anaesthetic because injections are administered with a very small needle that feels like a tiny pinch. This sensation goes away as soon as it’s felt.

3. We share some aftercare tips.

After about 5-10 minutes, you're done! We will talk you through aftercare and you're good to go. It takes longer to see your results because the botulinum toxin takes some time to get absorbed into the muscle and turn off the receptors that receive neuro-commands to contract. This can take around 1-2 weeks for full effect. The results of this treatment last 3 to 6 months. Touch-ups afterwards can be scheduled as often as every three months.

What does botox® do?

Botox® injection weakens and paralyzes the muscle temporarily. It helps reduce the look of your wrinkles and smooth out fine lines and the effects of it last around 3-4 months.

Does botox® hurt?

When it comes to needles, there will always be some sort of “sensation.” Even the flu shot can give you a pinch and anti-wrinkle injections are actually not that bad. The needle we use is SO small. This is one reason that the discomfort is so minimal since the needles are some of the smallest sizes that you will find - some even experience ZERO pain during their injections!

Where can you have botox® ?

What is an anti-sweat treatment?

Botox® injection is a treatment option for people who don't like sweating or suffers with excessive sweating. It is mainly for armpits but it can also help reduce sweating in other areas, such as the hands, feet, and face. We recommend doing it every 6 months.

What is a skin booster treatment?

It is a treatment that injects hyaluronic acid into your skin to improve skin tone, texture, hydration, and overall radiance. It helps increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. It is used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenating the neck, décolletage, arms, knees and hands. We recommend doing it every 3 months.

What product do we use for skin boosters?

We use Profhilo. It is a second-generation non-cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid skin booster. Hyaluronic Acid is a very versatile molecule which can hold up to 1000 times its own molecular weight in water which makes it ideal for adding hydration to the skin. This results in a plumper, more youthful looking complexion. It also stimulates collagen and elastin production within the skin.
